12th Main
Five years back BDP started with first snap of this jacranda tree on 12th Main, today being the new year day (Ugadi) makes sense to revisit that location with this new snap, hope this tree remains for next few years and keeps flourishing!!

Jacarandas are so graceful. What a wonderful scene.
Very Nice capture Rajesh. Hope that tree survives the onslaught of the city's rapid growth. These beautiful trees that are standing tall and pretty are largely due to the work of visionaries like Dr M.H.Marigowda from the 1960's. I wonder if any new saplings have been planted in recent years.
