Going Organic...


Here is a display in lalbagh nursery on Oraganic Food.... it is, in general,
food produced without the use of artificial pesticides, synthetic fertilizers and in many definitions genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Farms that grow organically, often do so in a sustainable, environmentally sound, manner, and more often than not, are small family-run farms or co-operatives ....

There's no question! Organic food is grown and stored without the use of artificial pesticides and fertilisers. The fact that residues remain on conventional foods and are consumed by us over decades, accumulating in our fatty tissues is well documented. Ignoring this danger to health completely, as there has been no comparative long-term research about the difference between the long-term effects of consuming conventional versus organic foods, it is still obvious that organic food is better for you. is organic farming gaining popularity in India?

just reading the organic mangoes sign has made me want some ;)

they r good for us ,but organic food in US quite expensive...i have to do mixed wt regular products. btw nice shot...love to try organic mangoes from there:-))

it's worth a try...it is indeed costly compare to the standard items available, still lot of enthusiast reach for it!! I try them sometimes as I find the taste wonderful...

I see the organic idea has made it over there also. Here, its just an excuse to charge more for food :/
